A Message from Sergeant Taylor

I grew up in Lenoir County and graduated from South Lenoir High School. I then attended ECU and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice.

I began my career with the Lenoir

County Sheriff's Office in 1996,

before joining the Garner Police

Department in 1998. I joined the

North Carolina State Highway patrol

in 2001 and remained there until

retiring in 2024.

I returned to the Lenoir County

Sheriff's Office in 2024 as the

Sergeant over Professional Standards

and Recruiting as well as the

Internal Affairs Investigator.

My goal is to ensure the department remains fully staffed and continues to attract and retain dedicated employees.
