8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

How much do fingerprints cost?
The fees are as follows:

Lenoir County Resident $14.00

Out of County Resident $29.00

Each additional card $5.00 each
The residency status will be determined by the address on your identification card or driver license. You can provide other forms to include a recent bill with your name and address.

I need these for a State or Federal Board. Does the Sheriff's Office send these in?
We complete fingerprints for all state or federal requirements. We can submit to many places electronically and/or print a card for you to mail in as required.

How long does it take to get fingerprints? Do I need an appointment?
It normally takes about 15 minutes for us to complete your fingerprints. Times are shorter or longer based on the number of people we are serving.

Do you use ink to take my fingerprints?
We do NOT use ink for fingerprints. They are taken on a computerized live scan machine.
